THE BIGGEST PRO EUROPEAN MARCH IN HISTORY
It was awe inspiring:
The cleverness of the thousands of home-made placard texts.
The determined patience of those hemmed in by the press of people waiting to start marching.
The old lady with her walking frame who had travelled 5 hrs on a bus from Brecon, sitting on the floor to rest at the foot of the Women in World war II Memorial on Whitehall.
The American tourist with trembling hands who had had to pay a £20 fare for a taxi stuck in gridlocked traffic who wanted to photograph me with my placard but couldnt hold his camera still.
The youngsters dancing to a beating drum rythm.
The emotion welling up and elation to feel the power of the people.
